best practices, following EASA guidelines.
Capabilities
To ensure the utmost in a quality electric motor repair, EMX, has instituted a Quality Assurance Plan as an inherent part of our commitment to operational excellence. We adhere to these standards and control processes and furnishing a system of policies and shop procedures.
An additional part of the plan is in the employment of skilled tradesman with years of electro-mechanical experience and a caring attitude, that take the quality of their work personally. Employees are empowered by equipping them with quality tools and machines that allow them to perform quality work.
EMX uses state of the art equipment and machinery to produce a superior finished product. Our equipment includes an array of specialty hand tools
and tooling, testing equipment, efficient parts cleaning systems, a fully equipped machine shop, including lathes up to 24” swing and 80” in length, providing support for the repair shop, An Clean-Condition Motor Rewind Facility including machinery such as a Samatic 2200 Automated Coil Winding Machine and a Steelman Walk-In Bake Oven. A computerized dynamic balancing machine ensures that equipment will operate well within established vibration limits.
With advanced computer-aided equipment such as thermal imaging, winding testing and analysis, and vibration testing equipment we are able to identify and correct problems during the rebuild process.

EASA AR 100: The recommended practice for the repair of a rotating electrical apparatus from EASA.
This is critical for the consistent quality standard for repairs. Ensures complete assessment and proper process for motor repairs.
IEEE: Standards: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers ensures consistency in the manufacturing of motors.
NEMA: Standards from National Electrical Manufacturer’s Association provide guidelines for how a motor should fit in standard applications. Manufacturers keep consistent dimensions to ensure the fit of your motor.
NEMA promotes safety in the design, manufacture and use of electrical products
ANSI: The American National Standards Institute sets standards for a wide range of technical areas, from electrical specifications to communications protocols.

Our objective is to have a comprehensive Environmental, Health and Safety program promoting safe work practices and environmental compliance, through the maintenance of safe working conditions, the establishment of safe operating practices, including compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Our employees are our most valuable resource and no phase of business is of greater importance than their personal safety. We believe that accidents can be prevented and that safety is an integral part of everyone’s job. At Electromechanex, LLC, everyone is responsible for demonstrating safety leadership, providing a safe work place and promoting safety as a core value, through continued Training and Education. Company Employees are industry trained and keep our skills sharp with online training and in-person seminars, as well as attend live training with peers from around the world or bring the content in-house. As a member of The Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) there is access to EASA's variety of industry-specific training pools of more than 100 years of rotating equipment knowledge from EASA's technical support staff. Employees are regularly trained and re-trained in OSHA 29 CFR and MSHA Part 46 Standards.
